I never thought na ganito kahirap maghanap ng OJT.. ilang araw na ako pabalik from school to the companies then back to school again.. never naman akong nareject kasi almost lahat ng companies na pinasukan ko puro ubos na slot or tumatanggap lang sila ng female applicants(Mostly lahat female applicants lang tinatanggap.. bakit kaya?).. may isang company pa nga ako na inapplyan sa Libis eh. 5 hours kaming nagantay tapos sasabihin lang sa amin.. hindi raw sila tumatangap ng male applicants.. buti pa yung kasabay naming magandang babae nakapasok(taga saan kaya yun?).. hay buhay!

Jigs = Fresh grad. Kabarkada ni Yumi. Magtatrabaho bilang researcher sa isang financial firm
Yumi = Commercial Model. Kabarkada ni Jigs. 2 years ahead kay Jigs.
TAGPO
Gabi. Sa isang kwarto ng isang beach resort. Naglalatag ng kumot si Jigs sa sahig habang inaayos ni Yumi ang kanyang higaan.

YUMI Sige na, Jigs. Huwag ka nang magpaka-gentle man. Naaawa ako sa'yo e. Tabi na tayo sa kama.

JIGS Hindi, okay lang ako dito.

YUMI Huwag ka nang maarte. As if naman re-rapin kita no. Malaki naman itong kama e. Hatiin na lang natin sa gitna.

Standard question, sure. But it's one that will elicit a standard answer-good people, I like what I do, blah blah blah. While most will certainly get the employment issue covered, the conversation will be more engaging-and you'll be more appealing-if you try to home in on those outside interests. Certainly skydiving, poodle rescue, or soup kitchens have got to be more interesting than conference calls and Power Points.
