co-spies: help to find Pine Com International
the story: scientology ads were popping up friendster these past few months at buwisit na buwisit ang mga friends ko. so i did a little research on the topic(including travolta -yuck, pare! and cruise -come out of the closet!). i stumbled upon battlefield earth(one of the worst movies daw). on the wikipedia page it states that:
Author Services announced in 2001 that Pine Com International, a Tokyo-based animation studio, would produce 13 one-hour animated television segments based on the book and rendered in an anime style. The plans appear to have fallen through and, according to Parish, "little has been heard of the series since".
since tokyo and anime, interested ako. som i searched pine com itnl' pero ito lang natagpuan ko:
and halos walang ibang data except yung same movie. wait: this is a tokyo studio already in the process dealing internationally at wala man lamang silang ibang works? or is this only a front para sabihing "hey, buhay pa kami!" at para ogagin ang masa?
help naman patunayan pine com international's existence. interesting kasi in a dark way...
