So I hope you like the new look of the website, and the idea of writing on the Pinoyspy Notebook. I remember in college when we had a fraternity logbook which we used to exchange messages. That logbook was sacred and was well protected; if it fell on the wrong hands, the secrets of the fraternity and its members will be revealed.
My wife and I also used several notebooks to write letters and notes to each other. We would keep a notebook for a week at a time, fill the pages with love letters, hate mail (like when you're jealous or fighting), and sketches (drawings of hearts, etc). Since email was not popular back then, the notebook kept our messages like an Inbox, always available to be read again and again.
It's amazing she was able to keep the notebooks, and we would laugh whenever we open them and recall our puppy love days. My children one day found the notebooks and said "Eeeww!". They found the entries mushy, like those lines where I told her "I love the way you kiss me" or "Let's make children."
When I was a kid, I also remembered finding an old notebook in the storage room, and it turned out to be my daddy's journal. There he wrote his sad and happy moments with my mom when they were in college. I remember some entries about Luneta (you know it was the 60s, so Luneta was still a good place to date and roll in the grass).
I'm not saying we should turn PS into one big diary, but I would like to encourage you write -- write anything. We would love to read blog posts that are entertaining, informative, helpful (like tips, you know), and insightful.
Don't know what to write about? Just take a look at the categories on the left column, and maybe those keywords could help you come up with a good post. :)
