Of course heaven nor salvation cannot be bought but most likely, a shortcut exists and the trek to everlasting life and bliss is promised by these Pinoy televangelists using the ubiquitous electronic mediums of television, radio and, your guess is a good as mine, the web.
Of course, many of us know that the holy book is about the story of the Jewish people, Divine Plan, and how this world's gonna end, albeit in metaphorical terms way above my understanding. Since people have sex, engage in sex, and before or after doing speak about it, what are the words in the holy book that describe S*E*X?
1. My husband and I divorced over religious differences. He thought he was God and I didn't. It takes a level-headed woman to put man in his proper place.
2. I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it. I agree, some people just can't accept the fact that I am a legend (in my own mind).
When both of you are working to keep body and soul intact, it is so easy to lose track of the time and instance when you did something sweet for the woman you love and (hopefully) married.
If your memory fails you, then it must have been tiempong kopongkopong pa.
This happened in the late 60's. Yes, yes, this is old hat, old stuff and what-have-you but without really trying to be cute, there might be lessons to learn from this blog. Who knows?
Starting your first day as a manager has its pitfalls. Don't be deluded that with your promotion or new job as numero uno, things will get easier. If you do, I will be one of the first espiya to say, "hello ok ka lang?" This blog summarizes them for you not to scare you but offered as sort of traffic signs so you can navigate the corporate road much easier.
As I go along with the years, one lesson that was hammered through my thick skull was, along the road that you'll travel, take a side - hopefully the right one. But hammering it though was only one of those things, the receptivity to the lesson is another.
Putting it in another way, anyone of us should take a side of the issue; whether it may be the correct or the wrong one, the gist of the thing is choose we must from among choices presented to us.
Emerging from the rather unproductive hiatus I involuntary placed myself into, of necessity I have to write, develop, and finish this blog. I am forcing myself not to drown in a whirlpool of maudlin sentiments. But sometimes you've got to let go if only to savor once again the pleasurable images of nostalgia.
The copy and paste habit is difficult to break, I must admit that I entirely forgot where I took this from.
Mary had a little pig,
She kept it fat and plastered;
And when the price of pork went up,
She shot the little bastard.
Mary had a little lamb,
Her father shot it dead.
Now it goes to school with her
Between two hunks of bread.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To have a little fun.
Stupid Jill forgot the pill
And now they have a son.
Simple Simon met a Pie Man going to the fair.
Said Simple Simon to the Pie Man,
"What have you got there?"

Vignettes of memories both happy and the forgettable waft like smoke from a cigarette fully lit and half-dragged. I must be homesick or so I believe. The pull of the early and adventurous years seemed to work its charms on my tired legs not to mention the oft-empty bill folder. I must visit the school where I cut my teaching teeth or what's left of it anyway before being old and complacent.
