Chess Game Animation
Finally starting to learn how to use GIMP. Hopefully, the animation will come later if I finish adjusting some timing issues. As an afterthought, I should have placed the end of the game as temporary graphics instead of the beginning! Oh, well. ^.^'
addendum (10th Monday of 2008):
This works okay when tested locally, but something about caches cramps the timing when it's already via the web. I don't know how to fix this. Also, there might be double images due to some GIFs not loading properly. Ironically, all the images only add up to 100 kilobytes. ^.^'

Thanks again for the link that allowed me to get GIMP. Although it allowed me to make the animations, I still drew the chess smilies in MS Paint.
If I remember correctly, a smothered mate can only be made by a knight. ^,^'
Are you able to play chess often? I wish my skills in the game start improving.

I used to play as a Sunday pastime when I was younger and romantically inclined now I'm only getting better at the latter.
